Aiden Mail is paid for with subscriptions. That means we do not need your data for anything, and this page explains exactly what we do with it.

What we do and what we never do

No hidden clauses: if something is not in the left-hand column, we do not do it.

Connect to your provider over TLS to fetch and send your mail.
Store your preferences: signature, folders, colours and settings.
Process only the text needed when you ask Lunnar something.
Keep encrypted access tokens on our server, in Europe.
Delete everything of yours when you close the account, without asking three times.

For those who want the technical detail — usually our favourite kind of person.

All mail goes through European infrastructure, with GDPR actually applied, not as a sticker.

Google or Microsoft authenticate you on their own page. We only keep a token you can revoke whenever you want.

For IMAP accounts, the app password travels encrypted and never stays on your phone.

Expiring tokens, revocable from your settings, and Face ID or fingerprint lock when you leave the app.

The pixels that tell a sender you opened their email do not load unless you want them to.

Aiden Mail is a client: your messages live with your provider. If you leave, you take nothing because it was always yours.
