What each one does best

If we only said good things about ourselves, this page would be worthless.

Gmail

Its search is still the best out there, storage is enormous and, if your company already lives inside Google Workspace, everything fits without thinking: calendar, docs and permissions in one place.

Spark

They have been polishing a mail client for years and it shows, especially on Mac. And they have something we do not: team features, like discussing an email with a colleague before replying.

Aiden Mail

Bringing every provider’s mail together with an AI on top that answers citing the messages. No ads, human support, and the option of us setting up email on your domain and migrating your history.

When Aiden Mail is not for you

If your team lives inside Google Workspace

When calendar, documents and permissions are in Google, leaving Google’s mail adds friction. You can use Aiden Mail just as a client, but we are not going to tell you to drop everything.

If you need to discuss emails with your team inside the app

We do not have that yet. If shared email is the centre of your work, Spark does it better today.

If you want end-to-end encryption between users

We encrypt the connection, not the content between people. There are specialised clients for that, and they are better at it than us.

And if you come over, you are not moving house

Aiden Mail is a client: connect the account you already have and stay in the same mailbox, same folders, same history. There is no import, no waiting and no risk of losing anything.

  • Connecting Gmail or Outlook takes two taps and no forms.
  • If you are not convinced, disconnect the account and nothing of ours remains.
  • The only real move is if you want email on your own domain: we handle that one.

Indicative comparison built from each product’s public information in August 2026; all three change often. Gmail and Google Workspace are trademarks of Google LLC and Spark is a trademark of Readdle Inc.; we are not affiliated with them and name them only to compare. If something has changed or you think we got a point wrong, write to us and we will fix it.
